  5. USER NOTES:

  7. 1) All of the programs on this disk have been fully tested to work 
  8.    under WorkBench 1.2.  Only some programs will work under WorkBnch 1.1  
  9.    
  10. 2) All the graphics and animations on this disk are icon operated!
  11.  
  12.  
  13. 3) GENERAL HINTS ON CLOSING
  14.  
  15.     The program Spin3 can only be exited with a CTRL^C (hold down
  16.         the control key while pressing the  C  key).
  17.      
  18.     Some programs clearly display a close gadget (Colorful,
  19.         HAMPoly, wallpaper, Mandala).-- Simply click gadget to close.
  20.  
  21.     Some programs have a close gadget window that is behind
  22.         the screen of action (robo, Melt). Pull down action window to 
  23.         reveal close gadget window.
  24.  
  25.     The program Hanoi has a hidden close gadget almost all
  26.         the way to the left on the top bar of the program window.
  27.         
  28.         Some programs have mouse controlled menus (ourWorld,
  29.         Rotation, Rainbench). Besides exit there are often other menu 
  30.         options, such as rotate Earth in x, y, and z directions in OurWorld.

  33.         DISK CONTENTS

  35.         The following programs are on this disk:

  39.     OurWorld, Rotation, Wallpaper, Melt, Mandala,
  40.         RainBench, Tree, Spin3, Colorful, Hanoi

  42.     All of these programs can be used in the WorkBench
  43.         with icons.

  45.         Note: Mandala also produces sound, so make sure your sound
  46.               output is hooked up.

  48.  Animations
  49.  
  50.         robo           To exit pull down action screen to reveal
  51.                        close gadget.
  52.      
  53.     robotroff      A clever mouse attacking robotroff is
  54.                        activated by double clicking on the
  55.                        robotroff icon in this drawer. See
  56.                        robotroff.Doc for extended use in CLI.
  57.                To exit type in CLI: 
  58.                1>robotroff -kill
  59.  
  60.     PLAYER (dir)   There are two demos of Aegis Animation in
  61.                        this drawer.  
  62.                        -- Double click PLAYER icon will
  63.                        load program and then display directory 
  64.                        contents.
  65.                        -- Click on 3d_Pyramid.script 
  66.                        enters script filename into file requestor.
  67.                        -- Click PLAY to view animation.
  68.                        
  69.                        Similarly, click on the Horse&Knight directory
  70.                        name to view directory contents.
  71.                        -- Click on Knight.script 
  72.                        to enter script filename into file requestor. 
  73.                        -- Click PLAY to view.

  76.        ShowANIM (dir)  This demo should start up from the icon. Double 
  77.                        clicking on the ShowANIM icon should start up the 
  78.                        animation file R_Baron.anim which is in this drawer.
  79.                        IMPORTANT!  CLOSE ALL WINDOWS BEFORE RUNNING THIS
  80.                        DEMO!  DRAG THE SHOWANIM ICON INTO THE WORKBENCH
  81.                        SCREEN AND CLOSE THE SHOWANIM and  APDC # 009 
  82.                        WINDOWS!

  84.                        You can only exit by reboot (CTRL^A^A)

  89.                    1>showanim -c r_baron.anim

  91.             NOTE: The animation player in this directory
  92.                               has been renamed as ShowANIMATION.

  95.         Source  (dir)  Source code in C Programming language for Hanoi, 
  96.                        Colorful, Spin3, and Tree is included in this 
  97.                        directory. These files each have icons that display
  98.                        the text file using the program Less.
